Spring Granola

Yesterday was the first day of spring! Good riddance, winter, for real! It was quite possibly the worst winter EVER. So now that spring is here, it's a time of new beginnings. Bring it on!

We move today. We are leaving our 850 square foot apartment in Brooklyn that resides on the 4th floor of a building (no elevator!). Yes, I've been toting two children (did you know we also have a 16 month old toddler who was born weighing 10 1/2 pounds?!) under the age of 4 up and down four flights of stairs to a very small living space. We will be moving into a 2,000 square foot, 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a backyard. The playroom will no longer be in our living room, the kids will actually have their own playroom! The thing I think I'll miss the most are the people in our Brooklyn neighborhood. I am a very social person, and after living in our neighborhood for over 10 years, we've become the family that knows all the shopkeepers and restaurant owners. But I think the person we will miss the most will be our nanny, Vincentia. Last week, I left my career to be a stay-at-home mom. I loved my job, and it was a hard decision for me to make. I'm still wondering if I did the right thing. I guess only time will tell!

A lot of changes for the family, but in regards to food, Harper loved her lunch so much yesterday that she asked for the EXACT SAME thing for dinner. You can see that both meals consist of the same foods, but are set up differently. Harper is eating blackberries, cucumber slices, strawberries and baby carrots. In the Wilton Flower Silicone cup, she has homemade granola. The boxes are from the Anabel Karmel mealbox that has been discontinued.
