Star Sandwich

Transient

I've been trying to incorporate more sandwiches into Harper's lunches. She was never really a "bread" person, even as a baby, but she has started to show some interest with grilled cheese sandwiches and peanut butter sandwiches. I think sandwiches are the easiest lunches to make, so the more she enjoys bread, the less time it takes for me to make her lunches. So it's a win-win!

Harper's lunch is in an EasyLunchboxes container. She has a peanut butter and honey sprinkle star sandwich. I used Arnold's Whole Grains Oatnut Bread. I found the sprinkles in the Target $1 bins. Check out those Target $1 bins for lunch supplies, folks! She also has mango and blueberries, carrots and cheddar cheese cubes.

The star sandwich was easy peasy to make. I used two different sized star cookie cutters to get the effect. I got the star cookie cutters.... guess where? The Target $1 bins! They were nesting stars (kinda like nesting bowls) and came in four different sizes. You can also get a different brand of Star Cookie Cutters on Amazon.
