We went apple and pumpkin picking a few weeks ago and had so much fun that we decided to go again! On Saturday, we all piled into the car to head off to a family farm in New Jersey. We had the best time! Even better than pumpkin picking.
Pumpkin picking can be so overwhelming right before Halloween. Everyone has the same idea. And everyone is on the hunt for their family's perfect carving pumpkin. This time, the farm was so much more relaxed. It was busy, but not chaotic. It was the last weekend for apple picking but there were still plenty of apples to pick from the trees. The pickings were golden rush apples and they are delicious. Here are some of the pickings from a few weeks ago.
By coincidence (or maybe not so much), Harper's preschool class has a fruit Friday each week and she is signed up this week to bring fruit for her class snack! She chose 15 mini apples off the trees herself.
Hope you all had a great weekend-after-Halloween!
